Q. How can I find out my Forbes account number?

A. Knowing your account number helps us to address your concerns much more quickly. To find your account number, you can check your magazine mailing label, where your 8-digit account number appears above your name. Please see the example below.

When inputting your account number please do not include the FRB or leading zeros.

Q. How can I find out when my subscription expires?

A. Your expire issue is also listed on your magazine mailing label, next to your account number. Please see the example below.

Q. How do I obtain copies of ForbesLife?

A. ForbesLife is a supplement to Forbes magazine. It is delivered soley to subscribers and is not available on newsstands. In addition, it cannot be purchased separately from the Forbes issue with which it was delivered. To purchase copies of ForbesLife, visit www.forbesmagazine.com/backissues and order the regular issue of Forbes with which the supplement was released. Toward the end of the ordering process, there will be a "Comments" section. In that section, type, "Please include the ForbesLife supplement." For every copy of Forbes you order, you will receive a copy of the specified supplement.

Q. How long after I become a subscriber will I receive my first issue?

A. The first issue of your subscription will arrive 1-2 weeks before the start issue date that is stated on your acknowledgment letter. A number of factors contribute to this schedule: time in the mail for your order to reach us, processing time on our end, and delivery time via second-class mail. If there is a problem in delivery, please contact us immediately.

Q. How can I remove my name from your mailing list?

A. From time to time, we make our mailing list available to divisions of Forbes and other companies whose products and services we think you’ll find of interest. If you would like your name excluded from these mailings, simply send your request to:

Q. According to my mailing label, my subscription doesn’t expire until June, so why am I getting renewal notices in January?

A. We send early renewal notices to our customers for several reasons: First, because we select our issue mailing labels one month in advance of that issue’s cover date, we must send notices months in advance of that issue’s cover date to ensure continuous service for our renewal subscribers. Second, obtaining your renewal order early makes good business sense for us and saves you money! The sooner you send in your renewal order the better, so that you can lock in your savings.

Q. Why did I receive a bill before I received my first issue?

A. If this happens, rest assured that your first issue will arrive within a few days. If it doesn’t simply call our customer service department at (800) 888-9896 or .

Q. Why does the URL sometimes change from www.forbesmagazine.com/.. to w1.buysub.com/pubs/B4/FRB/...?

A. To perform certain customer service functions it is necessary for us to transfer you to our fulfillment house servers, which is why you will see the url change. Rest assured that both urls are completely private and secure.
